Some 50+ years ago young Dusty walked into a music store in New York and asked for a guitar that could play Johnny Cash and Hank Williams. Not that many kids or even people had asked for that there and then.

What came down from the highest shelf was a new Kay Dreadnought that has since added Buddy Holly, Bob Dylan and lots of country/rock n' roll oldies and folk tunes.

Dusty sings and plays to try to keep the spirit of that music alive. He plays solo and with the Dusty Boys duo and trio in venues around Washington County.
